Travel agents have been known to get it wrong, but not for long.
In a case that took place at the end of 2017, Liberty Travel Group was sued by a man who claimed the agency’s staff misled him on the availability of their services in Tokyo.
The case was settled in July 2019 with Liberty Travel agreeing to pay a $3,000 fine.
Liberty Travel said that the company was looking into how the claims were made.
It added that it had never had a customer experience problem with Liberty.
